Capital City Music’s Worship Night with Life Center Worship
On Sunday, June 30th Hannah Cohen danced with the worship team at Capital City Music’s Worship Night with Life Center Worship. This was an evening-length service that consisted of a worship team led by Grace Capital City’s Worship Pastor Jacob Cantrell and featured Life Center Worship.
The band stood circling the center of the room, allowing the congregation to gather in successive circles putting the focus on the worship, rather than the worshipers. They played some of Life Center Worship’s own songs, some songs from Hillsong United, and other contemporary Christian hits.
Throughout the evening, pastors from both churches shared what they felt God had put on their heart to share in that moment. At one point, the congregation was invited to join hands as one church family.
Cohen improvised along with the band, stilling herself or dancing wildly when she felt led. Some members of the congregation joined in, finding space to move in other corners of the sanctuary.
